Going down from Lazise and travelling along the coast of Lake Garda, after about 30 Km you can visit Sirmione.
Situated along a peninsula 4 km long that from the southern coast of the Lake dips into it, Sirmione is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the area. Along its outstanding pathways you will experience the fabulous climate, the spectacular Scaligero Castle as well as Sirmione waters, famous for their thermal and therapeutic properties.

You only have to continue for another twenty or so kilometres, travelling up the western banks of Lake Garda to reach first Salò and then a little further on Gardone Riviera, which apart from the landscape is also historically and culturally interesting, as Salò was an experiment of the Italian Social Republic, while at Gardone Riviera you can look up at the Vittoriale degli Italiani built by the militant poet Gabriele D’Annunzio.

If you travel on further northwards about 40 Km, you reach Riva del Garda, where the landscape changes considerably. Because of its particular climate, Riva del Garda is considered the most northern Mediterranean place in Europe and alongside palm trees and olive trees you can admire mountains with a sheer drop down to the lake. At about 4 Km from the residential part you will find Varone Waterfalls, with steps so that you can enjoy them close up.
